Projects included:

  • Web log analysis and reporting system: ETL of log data, processing and analysis framework, web-based report delivery UI. System design was horizontally scalable (initially deployed on a 3-host cluster) to handle ~400 req/second, from collection of transactions from log to being loaded into the 400 GB MySQL data warehouse. Lead a team of 5 developers (including myself) to deliver this project successfully.

  • Support and maintain AOL's web publishing infrastructure built on AOLserver. Perform core dump analysis on Solaris for large (~4 GB) 32-bit processes.

  • Build applications to leverage AOL's content using third-party applications, such as FAST's FDS.
